Swiss-Belhotel proudly announces the launching of the Māua brand with the opening of its first property, Maua Nusa Penida, Indonesia, in the second quarter of 2022.
The brand name came from the Maori culture of New Zealand, which is built around togetherness, the strength of people, and nature. Māua is also focusing on being environmentally friendly, aiming at reducing the carbon footprint, classified as a natural habitat, and surrounded by natural elements.
The first Māua property is located in Nusa Penida, a small island off the southeast coast of the main island of Bali, next to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. Quickly becoming one of Bali’s most popular attractions, this island paradise is a world away from a hectic pace. Nusa Penida island can be reached in 40 minutes by speed boat from Sanur, Bali. The resort creates a range of amenities for ultimate relaxation such as spacious One-Bedroom Luxury Villas, One-Bedroom Suite, and Two-Bedroom Suite with living room and wide-open windows that will give way to a private pool and magnificent views of Gamat Bay.
