Best Gelato in Bali

In Bali, it is summertime every day. Therefore it is almost always the perfect time for a remedy against the heat: Gelato. Bali offers many delicious options for ice cream. In this article, we highlight some of the best ice cream shops and restaurants on Bail. And not to offend the Italian cuisine, the last (but not least!) one is not gelato but another frozen delicacy. Enjoy!

Gusto Gelato

This is the best known and most popular ice cream store in Bali. Gusto Gelato is known for its many and fantastic flavours prepared by an entire Indonesian team. They offer too much to choose from. Two of their favourite flavours are chilli chocolate and milk cashew. However, many of their flavours are available seasonally. They often experiment with local ingredients of Indonesian origin, such as avocado, soursop, kemangi, and spirulina. Gusto gelato chooses these local ingredients because they believe in local communities and small businesses.

Massimo

Massimo is one of the best and authentic Italian restaurants in Bali. In this restaurant, they get their inspiration from the culinary traditions of southern Italy. In addition to the many Italian dishes and specialities on the menu, this restaurant is also known for its delicious ice cream. They prepare the best classic Italian ice cream here from morning to evening. Every day they offer a wide range of flavours with one of their favourites: Tartufo. This flavour consists of chocolate and hazelnut mixed with cocoa and coffee liqueur. In the worst case that a visitor cannot find a favourite flavour, the chefs promise to prepare it for a return visit!

Gelato Secrets

Gelato Secrets offers innovative gelato. Here you can go for the tastiest ice creams and sorbets. They are therefore ice cream suppliers for many five star hotels and highly regarded restaurants. Their mission and passion and where they get their motivation and enthusiasm from, is their East Meets West concept of artisan gelato preparation and creation. They only use natural ingredients to prepare both Italian classic and exotic Indonesian flavours from seasonal and local fruits and herbs.

Gaya Gelato

Attached to Gaya Fusion Gallery, Gaya gelato is the place where art meets ice cream and Bali meets Italy. This ice cream shop likes to keep it simple, from the look of its logo to the gelato flavours. These handmade classic flavours such as strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate are prepared by hand without artificial flavours or preservatives, but with pure ingredients. According to Gaya gelato, their ice cream is made with love and passion and it is a true slow & comfort food. Also, eating ice cream is an enjoyable experience to share with family and friends. Besides gelato, they also offer semifreddo’s, frozen coffee, granitas, and more frozen treats.

Paleta’s Wey

Unlike the previous ice cream shops, Paleta’s Wey specializes in popsicles instead of ice cream. This makes this Mexican popsicle, also called Paleta, not less delicious! The Paletas are vegan and completely natural. Flavours such as lime, strawberry, and watermelon provide refreshments. And let refreshment just be the thing where everybody in Bali craves for. If a Paleta is not enough, customers can personalize their Paleta with toppings such as chocolate pieces, almond pieces, Oreo crunch, or coconut.
